Dual Language (DL) Program
We offer a 2-Way DL program in Kinder and 1st grade, and a One-Way DL program 2nd-6th grades. A One-Way program serves families whose native or dominant language is Spanish only. A Two-Way program includes families who are native or dominant English speakers in addition to native Spanish speakers. As we phase out our One-Way into a 2-Way, our goal is to have full implementation Preschool-6th grade by 2025.
COMING SOON! Full Day 2-Way DL Pre-School 2021-2022
Beginning in 2021-2022, we will only offer a full day 2-Way Dual Language Program in Pre-school. Students will be immersed in Spanish 90% of the school day with 10% of the day in English for all. This will prepare students to continue in our 2-Way Dual Language Program through 6th grade. The goal of the 2-Way Dual Language Program in Pre-school is to continue to develop the Spanish language for our native Spanish speakers and to create a Spanish immersion experience for our native English speakers. Space will be limited to 32 students.
