Edgewater Elementary is a 2-Way Dual Language school in Jeffco Public Schools in Edgewater, Colorado. Our school serves approximately 340 students in Preschool through 6th grade.  We are a diverse school community that is culturally responsive and embraces restorative practices. Approximately 65% of our students are English Language Learners. 

We offer a Spanish and English Two-Way Dual Language Program to all students, with 90% Spanish and 10% English instruction in Preschool. In Kindergarten through 5th grade the program provides instruction that is 50% in Spanish and 50% in English. This 2-Way Program will move up to 6th grade, and by the fall of 2025, we will offer this program at all grade levels. 

Additionally, we offer a variety of before and after school programs to engage our students further in other opportunities. These include activities that are of interest and culturally responsive to our students, such as Ballet Folklorico,  Balon Soccer, Gardening Club, Crochet Club, Martial Arts, Basketball, and Girls on the Run. In addition, we provide before and after school care for families that need this service.

Families are highly engaged and partake in the school's PTA and School Accountability Committee. Our volunteer program attracts families and community members to volunteer in the classroom and organize school events. We are a proud school community that cares deeply about all students. ¡Si se puede!
